Timbermeister Harvesting Contractors Timbermeister Harvesting is a British based company that specialises in the mechanical harvesting and extraction of commercially grown timber. Timbermeister prides itself on the high quality of its harvesting and extraction operations working to strict environmental standards. Timbermeister Harvesting is running a Ponsse HS16 Ergo harvester with an H73 harvesting head and Ponsse-Opti cross cutting computer v. 3.86 and an 8 wheel Rottne SMV Rapid forwarder with RK90 crane. It also has a Valtra 8050 tractor/skidder with an Igland 5000 hydraulic double drum winch. Timbermeister has a 7.5 tonne lorry with tail lift which is fully equipped as a mobile workshop. Timbermeister staff hold the necessary NPTC and FMOC qualifications. The company has Public and Employers Liability Insurance to the value of £10m. All the staff have extensive international forestry experience having worked in the UK, France, Sweden, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal and Thailand.
